The boys took down the last of the fences for this year. We use the rotational method of grazing for our sheep because it keeps the worm population down and keeps our grass "mowed" in the surrounding pastures. It also feeds the sheep for free and keeps a constant source of food coming. The kids hate doing fence. Setting it up and taking it down can be a pain, what with battling tall grass (that's how I broke my ankle) and three wires and stubborn rocks in the ground that won't allow you to set the post. But this is what happens when you choose to farm as opposed to living in luxury homes. Notice the happy expressions on their faces! I wonder where the kids will settle down when they reach that time in their lives. Will they end up in the country or the city? It will be interesting to see.
