We raise our own chicken here every year because we have been concerned about the very unsanitary conditions of the factory farms and all the drugs that end up in those chickens to keep them alive. We also had friends raise a pig for us for several years and have raised our own beef, again for the same reasons...they are full of drugs. There has to be some reason all kinds of cancer rates are rising...if it isn't the air it may be the food? Read more below...it's not just cancer we should be concerned about:
