So here we are spreading democracy in Iraq (that is the latest reason for why we are there right?) and we find out that the pentagon is paying a Washington based public relations firm to plant propaganda into the Iraqi media. How hypocritcial is that? Does that kind of behavior lend itself to spreading democracy? The longer we are in Iraq the more foolish and idiotic we look and the more desperate we seem to be to give the impression that the mission is being accomplished and meanwhile more men die needlessly. We have truly lost our credibility because we do not live by the principles we believe in. Remember the GAO found this year that we violated the law by producing pseudo news reports with no indication that they had been prepared by the government that were later used on American TV stations.
