Naturally I didn't think about taking pictures before putting their coats back on so all I have right now is a photo or two of one of my favorite fleeces. It's a luscious brown, and soft as can be. Those in "the trade" call it moorit. It's a yearling fleece and gorgeous and of course I am keeping it all for myself. It's alsmost as fine as merino! It took about 1.5 hours for the shearer to get the 9 sheep and two goats done. Now I need to sort through everything tomorrow and put up the rest for sale (minus what I want to keep) but I couldn't resist washing a few ounces of the moorit and it is now laying by the fire drying. I think with this storm on the way I will have plenty of time to knit and spin.
