Reflexive Knitting?

Is there such a thing? I guess there must be. I was starting a project earlier today in front of the Mets game on TV. It called for 2p2k ribbing. I realized as I was going along that my fingers knew when to change back and forth and my brain wasn't paying any attention. Now if I could do that with Fair Isle or lace that would be great! Stay tuned for pics.

BTW we are having the most intense lightening and thunder right now.
