How to Use All of Your Pumpkin

We totally recycle our pumpkins. The pumpkin seeds are delicious when put they are lightly salted and placed in the oven on a cookie sheet and baked at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. They come out crispy and delicious. Then use the guts of a carved pumpkin for pie filling. When the carved pumpkin is starting to sag, feed this to some cows. They LOVE it! Sheep will eat it too.




Here is a carved pumpkin, and it is quite huge. The seeds were rather large also but were as tasty as ever. See how the seeds are lightly toasted. That's what gives them their delicious taste.
