We awoke to about 6 inches of snow this morning. The wind hadn't kicked in yet so the tree limbs still had a few inches of snow on them and it was very pretty. We hopped into the car and put her in 4 wheel drive so we could make it down the driveway to get to Pickleball by 9. It was three of us Larkin's and 5 others so we had two teams. Several times my son was on my team. His fast young legs were appreciated frequently. He was able to return some balls I never would have reached. He loves the game and wishes our school would have it. This photo is Mike and Tom playing a game of singles.
What is everyone doing tonight to bring in the new year? We are having a quiet night at home with a movie and some fine food. Tom is making lasagna and German Chocolate cake. To get us through to midnight we are also nibbling on a bread bowl and some delicious dip along with our usual new year's fare, some delicious shrimp. Dan's girlfriend will also be joining us.
