Some Knitting

I am making my first pair of ankle socks out of some stashed yarn that my Secret Pal gave me awhile ago. It's my first pair with yarn that was not grown or spun by me. It's Sockotta, the Plymouth Italian Collection, lot 90U. It's 45% cotton, 40% superwash wool and 15% nylon. This has been my baseball knitting..speaking of which the Mets pitcher hit two doubles last night! This is the pitcher remember! Maybe this is why Johan Santana is the highest paid pitcher in the league?
