Tools of the Trade

Sometimes there is a downside to farming, even being a hobby farmer. It's the matter of keeping the barn, IN the barn. We have a rule that shoes are left in the garage and that one changes into barn/chore clothing to avoid transfers of odors. These boots are my main clothing item. They aren't Manolo Blahnik shoes or anything and not at all glamorous, but who's looking...the sheep? The goats? I love these things. They are neoprene and therefore warm in the winter and because they are soft they are comfortable.
