Kids In A Band and Interviewing a Band

We went to a pig roast over the weekend and the local band that was playing there allowed the boys to jam with them. It was a fun and unexpected surprise both for us and the kids who enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Meanwhile, the new band the boys put together (I'm not sure if they have a new name or if they are keeping the old one) has been practicing diligently for Winterfest to be held at the school in November.

On Friday night Dan went to see an excellent Metallica cover band in Binghamton. Metallica is actually one of the few metal bands I do like although in the last decade they have gone downhill somewhat. Dan writes for an online Metal magazine called Metal Underground, and that's how he snagged the interview. Here is one of the many photos he took.
