It's been a very busy few weeks with the play and the end of soccer season. Hot on the tail of soccer season is basketball practice. Basketball practice ends at 5, dinner is at 6 and then play practice was at 7. It gets exhausting. Finally the play is over and some degree of normalcy will return. 
Until we start running to the games, as the loyal fans we are. But in between all this Mike has been working on his hat when he gets a chance. This is his progress so far. The stithces aren't showing up very well in this photo but it has no mistakes and looks quite nice. He wants to spin up some of the rainbow roving I made but I commandeered the spinning wheel he is using because I need to make another pair of thrummed mittens for someone with large hands and the wool needs to be spun yet.
