This is arthritis month and I thought I would pass on some information I recently acquired. My mother-in-law mentioned when she was here a few weeks ago that her arthritis greatly improves when she eats cherries. I then read this article that talks about a University of Michigan research study that supports the premise that tart cherries give pain relief to arthritis sufferers by reducing inflammation. The cherries can be dried, frozen or in juice form. Has anyone found this to be true? If you are too young, there is no need to answer!
