I am so happy to report that the bluebirds were successful and I watched a bunch of fledgings emerge from the box by the house yesterday. I saw several males with disheveled feathers sitting atop fence posts and the flagpole. It's been so many years since they were last here so I am hoping they will be back every year again. The pics are blurry because they were about 30 yards away and I used the dreaded digital zoom since the 3x optical zoom wasn't enough. But you get the picture.
I had to chuckle when I saw that I had captured one of them dive bombing off the flagpole.
