I Settled on a Vest Pattern

I didn't like the way the pattern was turning out. I think it was the ribs that turned me off. I solicited help from Ravelry and got a few ideas before I settled on this pattern, a Lace Stitch Vest from Hilltop Yarn. So far I am loving it. It's unique in that you knit two panels and fold them over for front and back and then attach the waist band. It's also very easy to memorize (which is saying a lot for me) and knits up quickly (again a plus for me), and it was my first time using a provisional cast-on. If I find myself getting low on yarn, I can always use another yarn for the waist band so the chances of this actually working for me are very good.
