Tom bought a jerky maker that uses hamburger meat. In the past we have used venison steak and marinated it overnight, sliced it thin and stuck it in the dehydrator. I prefer the thinner pieces created by this gadget but I didn't like the seasoning that came with the maker as much as our own marinade. Can you marinade hamburger meat? I've never done that.
